Friends of Adoption was started to bring adopted children (domestic or international) and their families together with other adopted children and families. We will meet regularly at rotating locations around the metro Detroit area where the kids can play and the grown-ups can chat and hopefully make some lasting friendships.

… The majority of the events scheduled will occur during the week but we will occasionally have weekend outings to include family time. Our dues are $8/annually and must be paid upon joining. However, this will not be due until you meet the group and find that is a fit for your little toddler. We're currently taking new members but, we intend on keeping our group small. Please note this group is open to babies & toddlers ages: birth to 5 year olds.

There aren't many that have activities for Parents (Moms and Dads), playdates, and family activities. I have been a painting instructor for Michael's and workshops at a couple local galleries. Additionally, I wrote lesson plans for Michaels painting instructors used nationwide.
