Freethought Families of Chicago represent a local group of parents and families in the Chicagoland area with secular worldviews, humanist mindsets, and value science-based education. Those who wish to join us can look forward to regular family-friendly (and freethought-friendly) events and meetups around the area. Freethought Families of Chicago is affiliated with and run by the Chicago Freethought Project.

Hello to all parents and caregivers! My vision for this group is for parents and their kids to meet, play (yes, parents too) and support each other. Play dates can be organized by age group (e.g. 9mos to 3yrs, 3yrs to 5yrs, 5yrs to 7yrs, ...). The types of support can be but not limited to: Parenting . Couples and marriage . Babysitting swap . Our aim is to provide safe transportation avenues and social services resources for children, families and friends of loved ones residing in all of the adult and juvenile State of Illinois and federal correctional centers.
